Who is Top Gunn Tile...

I'm Sam Gunn, owner of Top Gunn Tile based in Hickory, NC. I am a transplant from Oregon City, Oregon.

I have also lived in Rhinebeck, NY where I started my tile business and met my wife, Tammee. We moved to Tammee's hometown in Hickory, NC in 2002 and brought the business with us. Soon after we had the surprise of twin girls, Chloe and Isabella. We love the beautiful foothills of NC and never plan on leaving.

I have over 25 years of experience working on tile projects with designers, homeowners, businesses, and builders. Over the years I have seen the tile industry continue to improve in providing better products that can prevent water damage and resist mold growth while also adding personality and beauty to the space. The variety of materials, colors and designs to choose from are practically unlimited.

We have replaced many moldy floors and leaking shower pans that were poorly installed with cheap materials. My team's mission is to make sure your tile project is installed correctly using the best materials available in a clean, timely manner.
